Colombia Rio Coffee is not just a drink; it's a journey into the heart of Colombia's rich nature, where quality is born from the hands of the nearly 800 creative coffee farmers who belong to the Co Agustinos association. Located in and around the municipality of San Agustín, Huila province, this association works in concert with the export company Inconexos to support and highlight the coffee heritage of the Huila Agustinos forest .
Efforts are invested in improving the infrastructure of each farm, while offering innovative training programs that enhance crop quality and establish sustainable agricultural practices. The goal is not only to provide exceptionally flavorful coffee, but also to protect the rich environment in which these beans grow. This organic crop is processed using the washed method, where the outer skin of the coffee is separated immediately after harvesting, then the beans are immersed in water tanks for 6 to 72 hours of fermentation until the honeydew film surrounding the coffee beans is removed. They are then placed on drying beds for 5 to 7 days.
